Process water and ultrapure water
Virtually all production processes need water – irrespective of whether as a component of the technological process, as a source of energy, as a rinsing or cleaning agent or as a component of the final product.
The fields of application for water are today as diverse as the requirements for the condition of the water. If water is used as feed water for a steam generator, it must be free from all constituents and gases. Sterility and pH value are crucial if water is used as a basic material in beverage production. However, sometimes the water's natural constituents are also important because they add the right "spice" to the final product.
The origin of the raw water and its intended use decide upon which process steps are included in process water treatment. BNA has become familiar with a wide range of technological process water treatment methods and developed many different control solutions for the paper industry, beverage industry, pharmaceutics industry or for power plants. BNA is thus able to control process or ultrapure water treatment plants in the best possible way and provide the prerequisites for their reliable and efficient operation.
